Jan 02, 2020 · I can't recommend leaving any tomato sauce sitting out for more than a day. If it is left out overnight, I'd use it the next day or sadly throw it away. The acid in the tomato will make it last longer than you think esp if you heat the sauce in the cooking process to 180 degrees.
